Do you feel good today....do you need some spiritual soul uplifting!!

I peer
Into the mirror...

Believing today
That I am
An intrepid soul...
Whose only goal
Is to become
An aficionado
Of my reflection.

I tilt the glass
Just so...
In my direction.

I am not timorous
But find myself
Feeling quite...
Generous....

And continue
My badinage with
Very little break
Of rhythm
Or time...
(Is it of consequence
That the sun
Has just begun
To shine)?

I feel the warmth
Of the rays
Across my face...
And rejoice
That I live
In this
Heavenly place.

I have grown
Quite adept
In my
Fraudulent thaumaturgy...
Manipulating the silver mirror
As if I were a wizard...
A devotee of metallurgy.

I smile...
But only wistfully.
Perhaps today...
The hallucinatory vision
Is a truthful admission.

I rub my hand against
The mirror
Making one last pass...
Over the desolate reflection
In the glass.

I summon the powers of
Strength...
Courage...
Faith...
Hope...

Today I want to talk about a good friend of mine.. well really one of my BFF as the kids say..lol lol. Her name is Muse aka Pansy she is a writer of poetry and I mean a darn good writer she is indeed. You see as a child growing up I use to read poetry but for some reason or another I just didn't like it to much. I found it to be long and sometimes boring. As I began to visit my best friend website where her wonderful poetry is on display I began to really understand it more and I have really falling in love with her work. Her work captures the inner soul of each individual. It leaves you sometimes with a smile on your face, the next time with a tear in your eye and next with the inner soul feeling reborn again. Her spiritual uplifting prose has helped me to keep going every day showing me that know matter where I maybe in my life right now..God is still in control. She offers me so much encouragement to keep going. To read her poetry sometimes can seem to be overwhelming. She has a gift indeed a gift that reaches to all her readers hearts. I must tell you she is the most humbled and grateful women I have ever meet. I say that believeing that this is why she is so successful today. She is getting ready to launch many new projects even writing a children book called Bean Sprout Babies which will be out soon and you must see it. How cool ha!!
